Haunted House Trip!

Theme Day!

Hi guys!

One of the things we discussed in the dorm gov meeting today was a way to help keep Rinc united as a dorm.  In honor of that (and just because it's awesome), we have decided to create Theme Day.  Just like Spirit Week in high school (but shorter), this is a day where you dress according to whatever the theme is.  It will always be a Friday, and you all can help choose which themes you want.  I will (try to) put up a poll on the blog to encourage input.

For this week, though, the theme is:  LAX BRAHS!!!!!

Urban Dictionary:

A player or fan of lacrosse. Usually wears all colors (mostly bright...doesn't have to match) of high crew socks, old school (but fresh) kicks, ridiculous designs on gym/lacrosse shorts (with pockets), and has long hair. One can find other lax brahs wearing polos with popped collars, sandals, shorts (no cargo) above the knees, and a golf hat with some sort of lacrosse logo or school on it...again with outragious colors. <--mostly adult brahs

"Hey I'm down in Balitmore for the Memorial Day weekend championships...you should see all these lax brahs!"

One more thing

I have made you all "authors" of this blog so you can edit the pages (such as Comments or Kudos).  However, don't let this get out of hand, please!  If you want anything changed on the blog (such as design, permissions, etc.) ask me to do it so that we have a little structure.  Thanks a lot guys!

So what is this website?

Hello fellow Rincers,

Let's keep the short and sweet: I have created this website so that you all can have a central hub for communication.  Ideally, any/all events will be posted on the calendar, you can use this for kudos shout-outs, and anything else (within reason) you want to.  Please keep it fairly clean (be respectful as always), and enjoy.  If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know and I will do my best to revamp the site according to your desires.

So what does this mean to you?  My suggestion is that you check the calendar throughout the week, but fear not if you can't find the time.  Ever Sunday night (theoretically) I will send out "The Week In Advance" - a summary of all of the happenings for that week.  So for those of you planning events, make sure to get them on the calendar BEFORE Sunday night.  And you can always add them later.

Any questions about the website/communications, let me know.  For more topic-related questions (specific events, etc.) email your dorm gov people.
